About
Small pieces, happy outcomes.
HappyVoxel is a small AI research lab. We prototype agents, models and infrastructure, keep the ideas that spark joy, and ship them as tools people can rely on.
Our story
Why the name.
A voxel is the smallest unit of a 3D space. Stack enough of them and you can build anything, as long as each one is solid.
That is how we build software: from small, well-understood pieces that can be tested, measured and replaced on their own. No black boxes, no magic, nothing the people maintaining it can't reason about.
Happy is the point of it. A tool should leave the person using it better off: less busywork, fewer handoffs, more time for the work only they can do.
Principles
What the lab holds to.
- 01
Craft over volume
One small tool that feels right beats ten that merely work. We would rather ship less and keep it good.
- 02
Prototype in the open
Ideas are cheap; running code is not. We test early, kill fast, and work where people can see it.
- 03
Small pieces, solid
Everything is built from parts small enough to understand, test and replace on their own.
- 04
Happy is the metric
If a tool does not make someone's day better, it does not leave the lab. That is the whole test.

How we work
Remote-first · Worldwide
We are remote-first. The lab works across time zones, writes things down and meets when it matters — sometimes on site, when a problem is better felt than described.
